To Celebrate Death is to Celebrate Life

Oh, Death, you're so lovely, won't you join me today?

Oh, of course not! You have things to decay!

Oh, but, Death, won't you join me tonight?

Let's go to where the world dies on the last day!

Oh, I know it is not your hue,

As Death, you have much to do.

But, please, join me, even if it's nowhere new.

I adore even when grass rots under you!

Even if my hands turn to bone - you saved me when I was all alone!

Yes, Death, you bring end to all that starts,

I am entranced by the scythe that reaps after dark!

To when the world starts, and where all of life ends,

I owe everything to you!

Death, you need not fear nor joy to bend

My will is as easy as water is to chew!

Just allow me to bear witness to you!
